Classes and Rides
NCAT offers FREE classes for every level of experience, from beginning to balance through advanced skills and social group rides, including Ride New Haven e-bike share classes.
Our certified League Cycling Instructors are excited to ride with you and provide educational support toward whatever goals you have on a bike.
Don't have a bike? You can request a loaner bike and helmet when you register for a class or ride.

New to biking or know someone who wants to learn? NCAT is offering Learn-to-Ride classes on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons at three New Haven Public Schools:

NCAT's Ride New Haven e-Bike Class shows new bike share riders how to use a pedal assist ebike and how to sign up for the Ride New Haven App. Taking the class qualifies low-income New Haven residents for a FREE one-year bike share membership. The class includes safe cycling skills training on Ride New Haven e-bikes, a free helmet, and a reflective pants strap. Use the registration page to request a class!
