It is very satisfying to be able to work with NHCAT to bring more cycling to our youth. We look forward to the 2024 launch of a public school youth cycling class that focuses on road safety, bicycle repair, and the mechanics and chemistry of cycling!

I have been cycling in New Haven since the 1980’s.  We have seen a lot of improvements to our cycling infrastructure in recent years.  I have been teaching science in New Haven Public Schools for the last 20 years and am thrilled to be working with NHCAT and colleagues in the school district to help youth safely explore cycling.
