Vision Zero Bill Headed to Gov. Lamont

The Vision Zero Bill (HB 5917) was just passed by the Connecticut Senate, and that follows a bipartisan super majority in the Connecticut House. Next, this bill heads to Governor Lamont.

Thanks to all the road safety advocates that reached out to their elected representatives and to the legislators that worked with the Vision Zero Council to steward this bill through both houses. The bill allows municipalities to consider speed and red-light cameras as part of their traffic enforcement strategy to reduce dangerous driving in our communities.
